Recovery & Performance
Your next workout is only as good as your recovery from your last one. With Recover and Perform visits, you can work directly one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to enhance your recovery and performance. Techniques like cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, stretching, as well as guidance on programming can help ensure you maximize your recovery between training sessions. Once you have your recovery strategies down, another way to enhance performance is through individualized movement assessment and programming. Improving your technique and efficiency in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and gymnastics skills can greatly improve your performance and reduce your risk of injury.
Recovery and Performance sessions are a great way to maximize your longevity and performance in the gym. You and your physical therapist will discuss your goals related to training. Whether it’s to train for a 5k, work out 4-5 days/week with less discomfort, compete at your sport, or to perform your job duties, we will identify your individual needs and form a plan to help you get there.

Exercise is a great tool for recovery as well. Whether you need to open up tight areas, strengthen weakened ones, or activate muscles prior to exercise, it’s easier to do with a solid plan.
More time spent with your physical therapist leads to better education on what is causing your symptoms, and how to address lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and training volume to maximize recovery from your injury.
